Out in the lovely San Fernando Valley a gentleman is selling the Fonz’s bike. That’s right, a 1949 Triumph Trophy TR-5 is for being auctioned off for $90k. Who knows it may even be the bike Fonz jumped the shark on! Who knows how many times Henry Winkler cruised up on this incredibly cool machine. Actually that’d be zero cause the real life Fonz didn’t ride. But COME ON! It’s cool.

Oh and it doesn’t work.

It seems, and this is just a guess, that a slightly overweight member of a motorcycle club used to sell Donovan, the author, and the Jefferson Airplane groovy things when he was in The City. Now I always suspected the members of the Airplane merely combusted dope by existing, but these lyrics paint me a different picture.

And speaking of nasty bike mamas, did anyone capture that select and wild breed of womanhood better than Neil did on this somewhat electric piece from one of his most gentle albums “Comes A Time.” I often wondered about this tale being included on that nice slice of vinyl… what is the story? What? NEIL YOUNG! Shame on you.
