THE DAILY SOUNDTRACK – 05/28/2012 Memorial Day

Thinking about my dad, brother and grandfather on this Memorial Day. All went to war and, thankfully, came home. They carried, or carry, the deep scars which come with living in horror.

Remembering family and friends who’ve left us here, with our ever dimming memories, on this spinning blue marble. What we ultimately leave behind are people filled with the love we give.

And thinking friends and family, fighting illness, struggling with sadness, worried for their futures… we’re all here together… squeeze those you love (and throw in a few hugs for strangers if you see fit, they need love too.)

A solemn call for peace, love and understanding on this day of memories.
