While researching today’s Daily Soundtrack I was stuck by the weirdness of the stories that were popping up. Music on Mars? Check. Bigfoot? Gotcha. Repeated use of Marijuana in your formative years will cause a lowering of the IQ? You Betcha. Interesting? Maybe. Weird? Yes.

Will.I.Am is debuting a new song on Mars! That’s right there’s a loud speaker on the new rover thingy and W.I.A’s new joint is gonna be blasting the red planet for NOBODY. Woot woot! It’s the same audience who wants to hear it here on terra firma so the whole promo is already a rousing success.

Randy Lee Tenley of Montana loves him some Bigfoot! And he wants people to believe too… with the only problem being… there’s no such thing as Bigfoot/ Sasquatch/ Yeti/ Abominal Snowman/ Mitt Romney. So Randy Lee did what any right thinking BF fan would do… he dressed up in a Bigfoot costume and ran alongside his local highway to drum up “I saw Bigfoot” news. He got hit by a car. He’s dead.

The National Academy of Sciences has pointed out chronic marijuana use in the adolescent years can lead to a loss of up to 8 IQ points by age 38 to which the Daily Soundtrack responds, “Huh?”

Linda Sirois just gave birth to her own grandson. Reading that creeped me out big time. Yes it was an egg fertilization the woman carried for her daughter and husband who couldn’t have children due to medical issues but it still creeped me out. I mean, it makes little Madden his own uncle. Someday, I tell you, Madden and his uncle are gonna take himself down to the strip club and show himself what it means to be a man cause that’s what uncles do with snot nosed growin’ boys… meaning he’s not going to know what to do ’cause he’s him. Jeepers Creepers.
